Four ways
to see them.

Every gallery can be viewed in any of these modes; switch at any time from the top bar (or with keys 1–4). The links below open the newest gallery.

Story

The gallery told as you scroll: a map whose route draws itself as you go down, a chapter for every place and a magazine-style editorial layout. Galleries without places get the editorial version, without the map.

Cinema

One photo filling the screen, like a film’s title sequence. Fluid WebGL transitions between frames, a slow Ken Burns drift, a large animated title, ambient light taken from the photo’s colours and a film strip to browse.

Globe

A journey on a realistic Earth: the camera flies from place to place on arcs over the continents, and the photos appear above the spot where they were taken. The route lights up as you go.

Infinite canvas

Every photo on a surface without edges that you drag in any direction, with inertia. Click a photo and it opens smoothly to full screen; a minimap keeps you oriented.
